Lynda.com is Hot!

I started classes on Lynda.com 4 days ago. Lynda.com is like a HUGE playground for anyone who wants to learn. My tuition is paid by my union. However if your union is not hooked into Lynda.com, WHY NOT? Get on it and you won’t be sorry.

Lynda.com is not just for union members. It is for anyone who wants to learn. The tuition is unbelievable. I’m not going to tell you how much it is. But, if you want to just take a peek click the banner.

Learn it all.

I started taking a cascading style sheet (CSS) class, the instructor explains everything in detail, plus the visual examples are very helpful. The classes are presented via on-line video, which means you can learn anytime your schedule permits.

The tiny tuition coupled with the ease of use and flexibility is a no brainer. If you want to learn, Lynda.com is one very good option.

  • So click here to take a look
  • Take a few moments or days to feel the environment
  • Then make sure to enroll
  • When you do
Come back to Yawk and tell us about your experience at Lynda.com

Chegg Semester 2 PDF Print E-mail

The chegg.com strategy:

OK the last semester ended. I finished up with a 3.75 GPA for the semester. But that just wasn’t good enough. I missed a 4.0 by half a point.

I should have been more careful…So…..

As soon as took my last final exam, I went to the college bookstore to sell back the one book that I did not get from Chegg. I paid $120.00 for the book. Sadly I walked out with just under $40.00 (I only used that book twice).

To further my disappointment the bookstore offered me a mere $6.00 for the myitlab access code that I paid $80.00 for but could not use (the book I returned came with the code. The bookstore would not sell the book without the code. So I had two codes). After I explained that the code listed at $65.00 wholesale and $80.00 retail. Everyone looked at me like “this guy really knows his stuff.” We’ll at least that’s what I wanted to think.

However, the person behind the counter was not impressed. I guess it was like I let out the world’s greatest secret. Yes! The college bookstore is in business to make money!

Sell it for $80, buy it back for $6, and then resell it for another $80. Hmmm…forget school, I’m opening up a bookstore.

Now remember the clerk was not impressed. So she said “I made a mistake. We’re going to be using something different next semester so why don’t you put the code up for sell on eBay.” How do you spell “getting the shaft?”

Now to the good part, I jumped into the Benz. That is me and my defunct myitlab code, drove home and packed up the books I rented from Chegg. I took them to the UPS store and off they went back to Chegg. It was quick and easy, plus Chegg pays the return shipping costs.

After returning home, I got my class codes and book list , I logged onto Chegg.com and rented my books for the upcoming semester.About 3 days later, UPS delivered my rented textbooks. They are now sitting right beside me on my desk. Purchasing the books at the college bookstore would have cost in the area of $700. I rented from Chegg.com at about $100. Yes! I have close to $600 to invest in building my web empire.

Using the Chegg strategy, I save a lot of money, I save a lot of time and I’ll get a good head start on the upcoming semester.

You really need to check out Chegg.com.
